In today’s adventures, we’re soaring to the Sky Islands.
Sky Island
I think one of the most beautiful aspects of the sky islands, is the golden leaves. I used the Forsythia Plant, and some Yellow Leaf Piles to mimic this effect. I also used the yellow lillies to stand in for the sundelions. And the Tin Robots make the most adorable little constructs. The Ruined Arch and matching pillars create that “lost to time” vibe.
Flux Construct
All of those hours I spent digging up rusted communicator parts, and mining gold nuggets in 2020 definitely paid off. The Robot Hero makes the perfect flux construct!
Lady Mineru
Also, in setting up the shot of Mineru on this island, she happened to walk behind a robot toy, and I was quick enough to capture this hilarious unintentional recreation of Mineru’s Construct. Mineru is my favorite character from Tears of the Kingdom. Naturally, I needed to get her to move to my main ACNH island (Yoshi) as soon as the update was released. I made a custom design for her walkway, and everything!
Unfortunately, I found her to be kinda boring as a villager. I am not that into snooty villagers (unless it’s Judy!), and I can’t understand why they didn’t make her a sisterly villager. She’s literally Raru’s sister!
